The Nigeria labour congress has came up with a two week ultimatum after having a marathon meeting to decide whether or not it will embank strike against federal government fuel hike with the increment that took place in the power sector.

The two week ultimatum issued to federal government is to reverse the hike in electricity tariff and fuel pump price or face civil service unrest nationwide as this warning was handed down at its central working committee meeting which ended some hours ago  

A communiqué read by the Labour President, Ayuba waba, indicate that the ultimatum takes immediate effect saying it would moblise its members nationwide for protest after September 28, which serve as the expiration of its ultimatum
