It was a moment when emotions would easily
flows coming with memories as this was what took place on Thursday when the
remains of flying officer Tolulope Arotile was being laid to rest at the
military cemetery along Airport road in Abuja in the early hours of today.

As the remains were lowered into the grave
at exactly 11.05 am, it was followed by a barrage of 21 gunshot salute while
other full military honours as the hierarchy of the Nigeria military led by the
chief of Defence staff, general Olonisakin paid glowing tributes of the first
female Nigeria copter pilot, Tolulope Arotile.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal
Abubakar Sadique; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and his wife; the House
Committee Chairman on Air Force, Bala Ib’n Nalla and the family members of the
deceased were also in attendance to pay their last respects.
