Chelsea winger, Hakim Ziyech, has been left upset after his transfer deadline-day move to Paris Saint-Germain fell through.
Ziyech was keen to leave Chelsea during the 2023 January transfer window after only starting just four Premier League matches for Graham Potter’s side this season.
The Morocco international agreed to personal terms with PSG over a loan move to join the French Ligue 1 champions, but the deal broke down in dramatic fashion.
PSG and Chelsea were expected to finalise an agreement, but the documentation to complete the Transfer was not submitted on time.
The 29-year-old was in Paris on transfer deadline day preparing to be unveiled as a PSG player, but will now return to London and finish the season at Chelsea.
However, according to the Daily Telegraph, PSG is privately blaming Chelsea for not submitting documents to the French authorities before the deadline, and the failed transfer has left Ziyech upset.
Ziyech was linked with a number of European clubs in January, with Newcastle United, Everton and AS Roma considering moves for the player.
The former Ajax star will now remain at Stamford Bridge for at least the end of the current season.
