A Longe located at Bode Thomas in Surulere was said to have jettisoned the restriction directive of the federal and Lagos state government in the understanding of preventing the second wave of Coronavirus that has started hitting hard on many in the world over, which Nigeria is not an exception.

The Lagos state commissioner of police, Cp Hakeem Odumosu, however, led a team of police officers and men to enforce covid-19 protocols across the state when the police chief located a longed at 38 Bode Thomas along Surulere and arrested scores of violators clubbing at about 1 am on the 9th of January 2021 which was in contrary to covid-19 protocols in the state.

The statement put further that the team also arrested some violating the 12 to 4am curfew at Maryland.

The Lagos state police public relation officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi quoted the commissioner of police, as saying it will do everything possible within the ambit of the law to enforce the orders and the halt of the spread of the pandemic in Lagos state.
