Operatives of the Niger state police command have arrested five suspected homicides and kidnappers in chachanga with a location at wushishi housing estate in the state.
A statement made available to Urban Express-News Online through the Niger state Police Public Relation officer, Dsp Wasiu Abiodun said after receiving information that two teenagers were found lying in the pool of their blood in wushishi housing estate, the police detectives attached to chachanga police Division swung into action where it able to arrest three suspects in connection with the case.
Those arrested include one Umaru Ibrahim (41), Nuhu Ahmadu (27) and Safulai Ahmadu (23) with a resident in kpapi village within chachanga local government.
Dsp wasiu said during interrogation, the suspect confessed to have conspired and fired Dane gun at the deceased persons, claiming to have encroached and damaged their farmland through illegal mining.
On the other hand, operatives also arrested a 25-year-old man identified as Danladi sarki and Yunana Danjuma (28) at Nakudna and kusasau village with a location at shiroro local government.
Urban express-news online gathered they’re arrested was in a reaction that trail the development that took place at Nakudna where unknown gunmen numbering about fourteen invaded the said village and kidnapped one Jambo salihu and taken to an unknown destination.
The ppro said during interrogation, the suspects confessed to be indigenes of the community but conspired with their armed gang members now at large and acted as pointers and informants to the bandits.
He said the victim was rescued on hurt while efforts to arrest the fleeing suspects are on-going as suspects will be charged to court.
