Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu has been found guilty of organ trafficking by a United Kingdom court.
His wife Beatrice, daughter Sonia and Obinna Obeta, a doctor involved in the case, were also found guilty.
The jury found that they conspired to bring the victim to London to exploit him for his kidney.
Senator Ekweremadu had since been in the custody of UK Police for bringing into the United Kingdom a 21-year-old boy Identified as David Nwamini that raised an alarm for wanting to harvest his organ without his consent.
The United Kingdom Metropolitan Police authority had since taken over the custody of the victim and went further to release the wife Beatrice On Bail following the findings of the court.
