A Location specifically at unity bus-spot, fatade within Baruwa, ipaja axis in Alimosho local government was in the earlier hours of today at about 6:26 am this morning had a gas plant explosion that has affected many houses,  inhabitants where eight persons were reported dead.

Although, as of the time of filing this report, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, the head of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency told our correspondent that he cannot give a specific amount of causality as it was too early but that eight persons is so far discovered to be dead in the causality.

Our correspondent gathered that the gas plant explosion was caused by a generator which was not adequately kept in a considerable Distance guarantying safety and that which attracted flammable, resulting in the explosion.

An eyewitness, who simply gave her name as folake Adele told urban express News online that the gas plant shouldn’t have been given approval from the Lagos state government in the first place; adding that the plant was too close to residential buildings where such poses a dangerous trend due to its incompatibility.

The government should at least do something; a lot of life had gone as we speak nothing that it is a bad development that is avoidable in the first place.

We were running helter-skelter, shouting for help after observing a tick smoke, only a few survived while others are nowhere to be found, folake said
