The Katsina state police command has narrated how three bandits that attacked one Alhaji Hari Bello’s house with a dangerous weapon eventually injured the three children of the man.
A statement made available to urban Express-News Online through the State Police Public Relation officer, Sp Gambo Isah said it was after the victim raised alarm which eventually attracted neighbours and the police, that the hoodlums were chased and pursued as a result of which one of the robbers was apprehended and seriously beaten by an angry crowd.
Sp Isah said the police evacuated both the injured hoodlum and the victims to malumfashi general hospital for treatment.
He said victims were treated and discharged while the robber died on admission, as investigation is ongoing, the PPRO said.

The statement put further that on receipt of the report, the Divisional police officer in kurfi led operation puff Adder and laid siege in a possible escape route of the bandit at tashan bara’u village cattle route
Fortunately, the bandits followed through the route and police team engaged the bandits a gun duel and consequently, they were dislodged and recovered all the rustled cows as search parties are currently combing the area with a view of arresting or recovering dead bodies of the injured bandits, the statement read
