The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has given a hilling details of how it arrested a 70-year-old Rabiu Wada who is said to be a drug supplier to Boko-haram
Urban Express-News gathered Wada hail from Dallawa town in Niger republic and was arrested on Thursday in Niger state with 10 pallets of skunk.
Explaining further in a statement, the spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi on Saturday Wada had brought hide from the Niger Republic and sold it in Lagos.
The statement read, “During interrogation, the suspect claimed he sold his goods for N300,000 in Lagos and used the fund to buy 10 pallets of skunk at N25,000 each. He was on his way back to the Niger Republic through the North-West where he sells drugs to bandits when he was intercepted in Jebba.”
The Commander, Niger State Command of the NDLEA, Aloye Isaac, said the arrest was a further confirmation of the nexus between drug abuse and the security challenges in parts of the country.
