Operatives of Puff-Adder attached to Kano state police command have arrested a man identified as Aminu Farawa who locked up his 30-year-old son for seven years in his garage without feeding and proper health care.

Urban express-news learnt the incident happened for over seven years before the team of Puff-Adder operatives received information to that effect in a location in Kano state and subsequently got the father of the victim arrested

A statement from the state Police Public Relation officer Dsp Abdullahi Haruna stated that the victim was rescued and rushed to Murtala Mohammed specialist hospital where he was admitted.

He said the father of the victim was arrested adding that preliminary investigation revealed that he has confessed to having locked-up the victim for 3-years on allegation of suspected drug abuse.

The commissioner of police cp Habu Sani has ordered the case to be transferred to the state criminal investigation Department for Discreet investigation
