Operatives of Lagos state police
command have arrested one Emeka Emmanuel after acting on credible intelligence.

A statement from Lagos state police
public relation officer, Dsp Bala Elkana said police Division in Ojo local the government  arrested the suspect while attempting to use fake Efcc identity card in its possession

He said the suspect used the fake
EFCC identity card to dupe innocent citizens under the pretence of providing
them employment with the EFCC as operatives.

The spokesman said one olaposi
semiu with a resident in Agbara who indeed happened to be one of his victims told
police investigators that the suspect collected the sum of N51,000  from him over a month past with a promise of
securing  employment for his son as EFCC

Elkana said the suspect has confessed
to the crime adding that the suspect was also found operating illegal medical facility inside his residence.

Item recovered include medical
equipment and fake certificates.

Meanwhile, a murder suspect that is
said to be on the wanted list of the police was also arrested.

The statement put further that the
suspect, Kehinde Bakare with age 23 was a prime suspect in connection with the murder of one Samuel ladejo and was arrested at obalende with one locally made
pistol and two live cartridges.

Recall that on November 2018, one
Bisi komolafe, an assistant manager of a famous hotel situated at 36 obalende
road Ikoyi reported at the station that one of its staff with name Samuel ladejo
left the hotel to attend party along obalende road where he was stabbed in the
chest by some boys who are at large while he was rushed to the hospital for
treatment where the victim later gave-up the ghost.

Elkana said one Umukoro Otega was
earlier arrested in connection to the crime and charged to court adding that
the alleged murder will also be charged to court.

In a similar vein, Detectives from Bariga
police division also arrests a cultist following sustained monitoring and surveillance.

The suspect who was said to be an ex-convict and has remained a high ranking member of Eiye confraternity, terrorizing people
in Bariga inhabitants.

Elkana said the suspect (Emmanuel olatunde)
has a link with a series of robberies and murder cases in Bariga he added that
the suspect was also responsible for the murder of one Ahmed karounwi, an Eiye
confraternity kingpin whose death took place on  11th of September,

He said the investigation is ongoing
and that the suspect will soon be charged to court.
