The Lagos state police said it has arrested six hoodlums over their involvement in the recent Ebute Metta Attack.

Urban Express-News Online had reported how hoodlums attacked inhabitants in Ebute Metta, destroying valuables belonging to residents within the said environment.

In a statement made available to urban Express-News Online the police public Relation Officer Sp Olumuyiwa Adejobi said hoodlums who attacked innocent inhabitants of ebute matta damaged some vehicles on the 13th of October 2020, has been arrested.

He said at about 9;30 pm on Tuesday, hoodlums trooped out in numbers and started fomenting troubles in the said area, but the police, while to distress calls from innocent people, chased out and arrest some of them.

Those arrest include; Qudus oke( 22) m,  Abdullahi Ajose M, (25) kayi Ajayi m, (33),  Michael Ben (27) Godwin Joseph (25)  and 29-year-old  oluwasegun Akinlade.

The commissioner of police, Lagos state, CP  Hakeem Odumosu, has vowed to get rid of hoodlums, hooliganism, gangsterism cultism and other social vices as all hands are on deck in the command to resist any act capable of jeopardizing security network of the state and causing pains and agonies to residents during the ember months and beyond.
