The Lagos state police command said it has arrested three suspected traffic robbers including their receiver at ikorodu and three others for cult activities

The Lagos State Police Public Relation officer Csp Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement said in its bid to consistently tackle crimes and criminality in Lagos state, the operatives attached to the ikorodu division of the command arrested three suspected traffic robbers including their receiver, and that it recovers stolen phones on the 26th of March, 2021 at 11:30 pm specifically at ikorodu roundabout.

Continuing, Adejobi said a combined team of policemen and local vigilante men on petrol sighted the suspects at the ikorodu round-about while allegedly robbing innocent commuters and passerby in the area and were arrested.

Suspects include lucky isibor(34), isah Mohammed (21).

Items recovered include phones, one hundred and thirty-Nine Thousand Naira (N139,000,000), BRT cowry card, black bag containing assorted charms and weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.

During interrogation, it was discovered that lucky isibor doubles as a receiver to traffic robbers in the said area.

Also, operatives attached to the Mushin division of the Lagos state police command equally arrested two suspected armed robbers on the 25th of March, 2021 at about 5:30 pm adding that those robbers have been terrorizing ladipo main market specifically within the Daleko area.

The PPRO said suspects were arrested while the police were responding to a call from the market men, who had been a victim of their various operation at the market.

Suspects include  Nnaemeka Udeh, obina onovo.

Items recovered include one Samsung 57, pair of shoes, bags containing an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card and charms.

The commissioner of police,  Lagos state, CP Hakeem Odumosu has commended the efforts of the policemen and vigilante men for the arrest adding that he has ordered  that the suspects be transferred to the state criminal investigation department panti for proper investigation and possible prosecution, the statement read
