The Lagos state police command has reacted to the allegation of sex in office levelled against a Divisional police officer, Csp Adegoke Atilade where the officer equally alleged that one Jenifer Madueke of theft of service pistol.
Earlier before now, punch news had reported that CSP Adegoke had detained Jenifer for allegedly stealing his pistol where the said lady claims otherwise and instead says the Divisional Police officer had sex with her in office.
But reacting to the developments the state police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ajisebutu said in the interest of fairness and justice, the commissioner of police, CP Hakeem Odumosu has ordered an independent, thorough and unbiased investigation into the case.
The statement put further; this is to inform the general public that the Lagos state police command is not oblivious of the reported case of theft of service pistol against Jenifer Madueke and the allegation of sex in the office against the Divisional Police officer, Denton Police Division CSP Adegoke Atilade.
“Members of the Public are hereby assured that appropriate action will be taken against anyone found culpable at the conclusion of the ongoing investigation such that at the end, justice would be served”.
“The Commissioner of Police had directed the immediate redeployment of the officer in the way for diligent investigation, the statement reads
