Starting from Monday 24th of August 2020 to September 30th of the same year, the Lagos state government said it will display a draft copy of ikorodu master plan in twelve different centres across the state.
Mukaila Sanusi, the Director of Media Relation of Ministry of Physical planning and urban Development discloses this in a statement saying the development was in line with the inclusive governance drive of the Lagos government to display for public inspection the draft of the final report on the ikorodu sub-regional plan.
Sanusi quoted the commissioner of physical planning and urban Development, Dr Idris Salako as saying the location where the display of the report will take place include secretariats of ikosi-isheri, Agboyi-Ketu, ikorodu-west, ikorodu-north, Igbogbo-bayeku, Ijede, Imota, and Ikosi-Ejirin local Development Council Area.
Salako said; while furthering the culture of citizens participation in the preparation of operative development plans, the exercise would afford members of the public the opportunity to inspect and submit comments on the draft final report on the ikorodu sub-regional master plan.
“The input of the people is germane to the sustainability of any development plan as we urge members of the affected local government areas to visit the various inspection venues between 9 am and 4 pm on the designated days to examine the report and submit their observations”
