The Lagos state commissioner of police CP Hakeem Odumosu has admonished newly wedded couple to live a worthy life devoid of violence as they start another phase of their lives.
Odumosu gave this advice at the wedding of the daughter of former Oyo state commissioner of police and present commissioner of police in charge of an anti-fraud unit, CP Shina Olukolu
CP Odumosu reaffirms zero tolerance for gender and domestic violence which according to him, has occasioned many family problems, social dislocations and deviant behaviours’ as they are detrimental to national development in the country
Odumosu advised the couple against societal menace while admonishing the newly wedded couple at their wedding ceremony to be faithful with each other at all times.
The couple whose event took place at an event centre located at ikate area in lekki housed the cream de la cream in the society.
Cp Odumosu while giving his words of advice, said he will partner with relevant government non-governmental bodies to ostracize anyone caught in the devilish act in the state.
The state police public Relation officer, sp Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a statement said CP Odumosu also charged the couple to uphold the sanctity of marriage and live a worthy life devoid of violence and dysfunctional conflicts, while he seized the opportunity to congratulate the parent of the couple for the successful ceremony, commended the senior officers and men of the Nigeria police who were deployed for various assignments at the event, for their commitments and steadfastness.
