 The president of Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria has expressed its readiness to join the proposed strike called by the Nigeria labour congress NLC Scheduled to begin on Monday.

The President of JUSUN Marwan Adamu Told Newsmen on Friday that as an affiliate of the Nigeria Labour Congress, the union of the judiciary workers was bound by the umbrella body’s directive to Nigeria workers to proceed on strike from Monday, next week.

“In compliance with a nationwide shutdown of court nationwide, we are bound with the directive by the Nigeria  Labour Congress and the Trade union to embark on the proposed strike”, he said

The NLC and the TUC had jointly declared the industrial action to press for the reversal of the recent hike in petrol pump price and electricity tariff.

Asked if the Wednesday’s order issued by the National Industrial Court in Abuja stopping the planned strike would not be complied with, Adamu said, “the order has not been served on us, so the strike is going on”.
