The Lagos state police command has given more sterling revelations on how a Female lawyer, Mrs Udeme Odibi, residence of Diamond estate in Ajah allegedly killed her husband Mr Otike Odibi who also happened to be a lawyer,  says murder premeditated. 
The commissioner of police, Mr Imohimi Edgal while briefing journalists said the development follows after it was reported last-week how his wife Mrs. udeme Odibi was said to have used jack knife to remove the husband’s intestines with cutting off his Manhood and placing them on his hands.

 Further investigation into the matter as given in a statement obtained by urban express-news online through Police Public relation officer, chike Oti, explains that the couple had marital issues bothering on extra-marital affairs.
“Part of what transpired between both couples on the day when the incident occurs  was what the suspect sent as a WhatsApp message to her sister in-law complaining about her husband and as a result, requested her to pray for them and equally ask God to forgive them”

 Oti said the suspect, udeme Odibi in her statement confessed to police Authority of her alleged involvement in committing the said crime, stating that she also called her mother on the phone that she actually killed her husband
“ part of her confession reads in parts; that the suspect had hit the deceased with frying pan on his head before stabbing him”
“That the weapon used against the other party, her husband Mr Otike Odibi who is now (deceased) has been recovered”
“The statement put further that the deceased had earlier called his mother on phone and reported how his wife has been threatening to kill him with a knife”
“After stabbing the deceased on the stomach and seeing the intestines forced out, the said suspect never requested for any assistance from neither their neighbours but instead, called her mother that she has killed her husband”
Oti said from the look of things, the killing is said to be premeditated as the suspect had earlier procured a set of knives with which she used to execute her plans”
Accordingly, the said suspect had parked all her certificates and had made all arrangements to travel to the United Kingdom.
The statement said an autopsy on the deceased is currently being carried out by a team of pathologies whilst the forensic analysis result is being compiled and would be communicated to Nigeria public soonest
Continuing, the Lagos commissioner of police, Mr Imohimi Edgal did not mince word when he handed down a serious warning to pipeline vandals, saying Lagos police command will make life miserable for those that are bent on syphoning the nation’s resource illegally. This follows as he narrated how the intelligence arm of the command was able to arrest some suspects vandalizing Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) pipelines along Abule Egba with a location at Ekoro in the state.
“After acting on a tip-off, the command with support from the operatives of the federal Anti-robbery squad was able to apprehend those vandals syphoning premium motor spirit popularly called petrol”
“Preventing future occurrences of economic sabotage, and the possible outbreak of fire, the command has dispatched Rapid Response Team (RRS) to the scene in other to stem further any unforeseen developments inimical to those network of pipes”
Suspects arrested include one Chibuzor Nwoko (25) Years, AmudaTaoreed (37) years Abdulrazaq Mohammed (47) Olagunju Nurudeen (27) years and Adedeji Adeshina.
“We equally recover 3300litres tanker without registration number plate and an open pick-up van with NNPC Plate number”
“The command has  also contacted the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation’s maintenance units to repair the pipes in other to stop further leakages”
Oti also said the command picked some notorious armed robbery gangs that operate along Luggard Avenue with a location in Ikoyi
“After an investigation into the said developments by combined teams of the operatives of Lagos state police command and state Anti Robbery Squad (SARS)  digging out more facts, its findings led to the arrest of one John Aniefok and Osaze iduwe both male Nigerian.
 It also trailed another suspect whose name bears Timothy Idowu and Osogbayi to Benin to effect their arrest.
 Oti said those suspects would be charged to court as soon as the investigation into the case is concluded.
“Criminals no matter how long it takes, once you strike in Lagos, the command would never let you out of his radar until you are arrested and prosecuted” the statement reads.
The command also apprehended some armed robbery gangs that usually operates during peak period known to be characterized by agrarian movements of traffic.

“After fervent reports of crimes perpetrated within that location, the command deployed some operatives with support from Federal Anti-robbery squad from Ladipo to fish out those perpetuating those dastardly acts”.

“We were able to arrest them in their hideouts, a location with close proximity to the major road where the said crime is usually perpetuated” 

Those arrested include one Imole Otegbeye (22) years, Ibrahim Raymond (28) Mufutau Rilwan (22) years Samad sikiru (23) Rilwan Abdulsalam (22) years Ibrahim Salami (26)years, Idowu Lamidi (28)years, Ismail Malik (25) Ayodele Ezekiel (28) years and Ayodele Oluwafemi (36)years

Item Recovered include a toy pistol

Oti said the command will charge them for armed robbery and unlawful possession of firearm given the impression they create in the minds of their victim with the toy pistol in other to forcefully take possession of peoples belonging illegally.
