Chief Dennis otuaro has described
the appointment of Chief Timipre Sylva by president mohammadu Buhari as a
breath of New fresh Air

The elder state-man who spoke in excitements
to journalists,  describes the
development  as good thinking coming
from president mohammadu Buhari.

The ibe-uyadonwei of gbaramatu kingdom
of Warri was indeed in a joyous mood at the announcement of Timipre Sylvia’s  appointment
as minister of state for petroleum resources.

He said President mohammadu Buhari has
set the country on the right path of achieving growth in the country’s economy
and bring succour to the generality of Nigerians.

“Let me congratulate Chief Timipre  on his appointment, indeed there is no doubt in my mind that the former Bayelsa state governor will put his experience to bear in revamping the petroleum sector”.

“I have everlasting confidence that Sylvia
would hit the ground running, adding that the terrain was the only one that he is well familiar with”.

Chief Otuaro said the former Bayelsa
state number one citizen, having served as senior special Assistant to Edmond Doukoru
who was a former minister of state  for
energy and petroleum resources between July and May 2007, will certainly deliver on the President’s Next level agenda in the petroleum sector.

“His administrative sagacity and the experience will make the task before him easier in assisting the country’s
major income earner”.

I harbour no doubt that the man is
well qualified for the job.

He describes chief Timipre Sylvia as
one well versed with labyrinths of political waters of the petroleum sector and
its strategic relevance to the growth and development of the country’s economy.

  “ His welcome
address in his honour at the NNPC tower headquarters 
where the minister emphasized his commitments to the tenants of good and
purposeful governance remains very telling, the statement added!
