Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has tipped Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah as a likely contender for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Salah has been one of the standout players for Liverpool this season.
The Egyptian international has scored 20 goals and provided 17 assists in 26 games across all competitions for the Premier League leaders.
The 32-year-old has been at Anfield since joining from AS Roma in the summer of 2017.
In a video tweeted by Football on TNT Sports, Ferdinand made a few predictions, including one about the potential winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
When asked who he thinks will win the Ballon d’Or in 2025, the former England defender said: “Salah. He’s got a chance.”
Meanwhile, Manchester City midfielder Rodri is the current holder of the Ballon d’Or, having won it ahead of Real Madrid’s Vinícius Júnior in 2024.
