The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has urged Nigerians to return to God for a renewed nation in 2025.

In a goodwill message signed by Archbishop Daniel Okoh, its President, CAN noted that despite the many difficulties Nigerians faced in 2024, including economic challenges and insecurity, God’s grace was in abundance to sustain the nation.

“As we look ahead to 2025, we urge all Nigerians to return to God and serve Him faithfully. Only by seeking His guidance and walking in His ways can we find the peace, unity, and progress we all long for as a nation,” the statement said.

“We also call on those in governance to lead with compassion, transparency, and accountability. Let decisions be made with the welfare of the people in mind, ensuring that no Nigerian is left behind in the pursuit of a prosperous nation.

“With God’s continued grace and our collective commitment to His will, we believe 2025 will be a year of transformation and renewal for our beloved country. Let us move forward in faith, unity, and the hope that all shall be well with us.

“May God bless Nigeria and guide us on the path of righteousness in 2025 and beyond.”
