Former England midfielder, Paul Scholes, has predicted the team to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.Scholes sees his country, England, lifting the trophy and believes that manager Thomas Tuchel will be the man to help England win the tournament.England won all their matches in the qualifying series following a 2-0 win over Albania on Sunday.The Three Lions became the first team in Europe to play an entire World Cup qualifier without conceding a goal in over six matches.Tuchel has led England to impressive victories away at Serbia and at home to Wales as the team showcase their potential under the former Chelsea boss.Scholes, who played about 66 games for England, strongly believes Tuchel can guide England to their first senior men’s major trophy since 1966.“I really think they will win the World Cup, I do honestly,” Scholes told The Good, The Bad & The Football. “I think they’re a great team.“I think the manager is brilliant as well. I think this manager is the one who could get them over the line.”The World Cup draws will come up in December, and England will discover their group opponents.
