Cyriel Dessers has expressed his disappointment following Rangers’ 2-0 home defeat to St Mirren.
Rangers dominated the Scottish Premiership encounter but failed to convert their chances.
Mikael Mandron and Toyosi Olusanya were on target for St Mirren in the second half.
Dessers said the defeat was a tough one to take, especially as it was at home.
“It was a difficult afternoon. It was a tough loss, especially as it was at home,” Dessers told the club’s official website.
“That is not what you want to show here, especially after our last home game. We wanted to bounce back and give the fans something, but we didn’t.”
The Rangers remain 13 points behind their rivals, the Celtics, following the defeat.
Philippe Clement’s side will face Kilmarnock in their next league game at Rugby Park.
