Mr Lere Olayinka, The Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said that House of Representatives member from Ideato North and South Federal Constituency of Imo State, Imo Ugochinyere, was only “crying over lost alawee from Rivers State.”

Olayinka counselled Ugochinyere to “cry less Spilled Milk, but rather look for another mugun (victim) to turn to a Political ATM.”

He was reacting to Ugochinyere’s comments against Wike and the latest events in Rivers State during a live television program.

Wike’s spokesman admonished him to stop lying to the public about a non-existing opposition group.

He urged him to tell Nigerians “the House of Representatives members that are part of his Yahoo Yahoo Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).”

In a statement he issued, Olayinka accused Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State of being a victim of Ugochinyere’s alleged ‘Yahoo Yahoo.’

He said: “As a political hushpuppi that he is, it is normal for Ugochinyere to cry over the dismantling of fraudulent local government structures that he used his party, Action Peoples Party (APP) to produce in Rivers State. From the illegal Council Chairmen, we know how many billions of Naira he has collected, and this has come to an end. He must cry.

“Ugochinyere once said, the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Ameawhule won’t ever see the Rivers State Budget. He was everywhere, boasting that the Assembly members are gone and nothing in this life will bring them back.

“But today, as Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, who is the victim of Ugochinyere’s Yahoo Yahoo politics is already seeing spirits, the reality of the end of free flow of Alawee is dawning on him, reason he was on live television, shouting like a wounded goat.”

This is coming amid the renewed political tension in Rivers State after the Supreme Court judgment which reinstated the Martins Amaewhule-led assembly.

Following the judgment, Fubara had visited the assembly in an attempt to represent the 2025 budget but the gates of the complex were shut against him.
