Registered Voters of Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency, Enugu State have commenced the process to recall the lawmaker representing them in the House of Representatives, Hon. Martins Oke.
reports that this was contained in a letter of petition dated March 27, 2025 and addressed to the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
The petitioners represented by Mr. Ugwuagbo Emmanuel Chizoba, alongside Mr. Clinton Ogbonna, Mr. Sabinus Amah, and Mr. Stephen Okenwa, cited non-performance of the lawmaker as one of the reasons for the move.
The commission had equally commenced with the process of recalling sebator, Natasha Akpoti, even though tailored with much controversy of claims and counterclaims allegedly indicating fictitious data to which INEC is yet to ascertain
INEC initially wrote to say the Petitinors didn’t supply input its address, location and other needed items, a development it has since confirmed and gave notice of moving to another step of the process of recall
