Why Offset Request Spousal Support From Cardi B Amid Divorce Battle

Seun Emmanuel Popular American rapper Offset is requesting spousal support from Cardi B, his estranged wife. Urban Express News Online reports that Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in August 2024, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ between them. Offset filed his response to the divorce case in February 2025, seeking joint custody of their three kids, and wanted Cardi B’s home to be the children’s primary residence. However, in a recently filed updated response, Offset demanded spousal support from Cardi B as part of divorce settlement. According to TMZ, Offset, who didn’t specify the actual amount, urged the court to handle legal fees between them fairly. Recall that the hip-hop power couple got married in 2017 in a secret ceremony.
