Home-based Super Eagles captain Junior Nduka has completed a permanent transfer to Iraqi club Erbil FC, Urban Express News reports.

Nduka, who penned a three-year contract with Erbil FC, joined the club from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Remo Stars.

The centre-back is the latest player to leave Remo Stars following the departure of Kayode Bankole, Sikiru Alimi, Franck Mawuena, Fabian Nworie, and Seun Ogunribide.

Nduka played a pivotal role in the Sky Blue Stars’ title-winning campaign last season.

The centre-back is well respected for his calmness and leadership traits.

He played every minute of Nigeria’s three games at the 2024 African Nations Championship.
