The All Progressives Congress, APC, has approved the composition of sub-committees for the upcoming 2026 National Convention as part of preparations to ensure a transparent and credible convention.The committees are mandated to coordinate critical operational, administrative, electoral, logistics, security, and programme activities necessary for the seamless conduct of the convention.The leadership of the National Convention sub-committees comprises the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, headed by Chairman Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Co-Chairman Usman Ododo, and Vice Chairman Sen. Ken Nnamani.The Screening Appeal Committee is made up of Chairman Umar Namadi, Co-Chairman Francis Nwifuru, and Vice Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.The Election Committee will be led by Chairman Aminu Bello Masari; Vice Chairman I, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim; Vice Chairman II, Uba Sani; and Vice Chairman III, Monday Okpebholo.The Election Appeal Committee is chaired by Agbu Kefas and Siminalayi Fubara and deputised by Abba Kabir Yusuf.A statement released by Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of the party, said that the Venue Committee will be chaired by Abiodun Adedapo Oluseun and Ahmed Aliyu, while David Umahi and Simon Bako Lalong will serve as Vice Chairmen I and II, respectively.The Security Committee has Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd) and Douye Diri as Chairmen, while the Vice Chairman is Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.Finance Committee: Chairman, Sen.
