The Champions League semi-final return legs are set for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Urban Express News reports that only two of the remaining four teams – Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich – will secure their ticket to the final.
Tuesday fixture:
Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid
The kickoff for this game is 8 pm, and the venue is Emirates Stadium.
The first leg in Spain ended 1-1, so Arsenal, who are currently leading the Premier League table, need a strong home performance to get past Diego Simeone’s side.
The Gunners head to the game after beating Fulham 3-0 in the Premier League over the weekend, while Atletico Madrid won 2-0 against Valencia in the LaLiga.
Wednesday fixture:
Bayern Munich vs PSG
The kickoff for this game is 8 pm, and the venue is Allianz Arena.
The first leg in Paris ended 5-4 in favour of PSG, so the Parisians, who are currently leading the French Ligue 1 table, need to put in an outstanding display to get past Vincent Kompany’s side in Germany.
The Parisians head to the game after playing a 2-2 draw with Lorient in the Ligue 1 encounter on Saturday, while Bayern drew 3-3 with Heidenheim in the Bundesliga clash at home.
Speaking with Newsmen ahead of the Champions League semi-final second leg fixtures, Lagos-based journalist, Femi Fabunmi, backed both Arsenal and Bayern to progress to the final, citing home advantage.https://urbanexpresslive.com/ucl-youre-weak-for-covering-your-mouth-with-a-shirt-vinicius-slams-prestianni-over-racist-comment/
“The first legs were crackers, especially in Paris, where both PSG and Bayern showed real attacking firepower,” Fabunmi said.
“Arsenal came away with a draw, which makes the Emirates Stadium return a must-watch.
“Bayern will have a cracker on their hands on Wednesday, but I think they will edge it at home.
“Arsenal’s situation is trickier, but home support should be enough to push them through to the final,” he said.
