Nottingham Forest have honoured Taiwo Awoniyi with a commemorative shirt to mark the striker’s 100th appearance for the club, =Urban Express News reports.
Awoniyi reached the milestone in Forest’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago.
The 28-year-old netted twice in the game to make the occasion more memorable.
The Nigerian international received the commemorative shirt during Friday’s training session.
Awoniyi arrived at the City Ground from Bundesliga side, Union Berlin in 2022.
He has struggled for regular playing time this season, recording four goals and one assist in 15 league appearances.
