Leon Balogun has heaped plaudits on Cyriel Dessers for being Glasgow Rangers’ hero once again.
Dessers scored the decisive goal in the Light Blues 1-0 win over Hearts on Sunday.
It was the forward’s third goal in his last three outings for Philippe Clement’s side.
Uban Express News Online Sport recalls the 29-year-old scored the winning goal for Rangers in the 1-0 victory over Motherwell last weekend.
The striker was also on target in Rangers’ UEFA Europa League draw with Olympiacos last Thursday.
Balogun hopes there are plenty more to come from his compatriot.
“We need Cyriel up there,” he told Rangers TV.
“I wish sometimes that he would reward himself more. Everyone would benefit from that.
“He is really trying and I am pleased for him to score three goals on the bounce. It is good for his confidence and hopefully he picks up even more.”
