Arsenal forward, Kai Havertz, has opened up about his decision to leave Chelsea for the Gunners.
According to the German, the decision to leave Stamford Bridge is the best thing he could have done.
The German international is leading the line for Mikel Arteta’s side in his second season at the Emirates Stadium as they look to win silverware this term.
Many fans were shocked when Havertz, not necessarily the most adored player amongst the Blues, made the switch to join the north London side.
Mikel Arteta’s side was happy to part with a reported £65 million for the versatile attacker in the summer of 2023.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Havertz said, “For me, it’s the best thing I could have done. I’m so happy with the support of everyone who has helped me during my time there.”
“I’ve only just started and I hope to continue playing well and winning titles,” Havertz said (via Tribal Football).
Havertz will forever remain in the history books at Chelsea, having scored the winner in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final.
