Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has claimed manager Ruben Amorim does not “trust” his players.
Amorim again made changes to his starting XI as they lost 3-2 at home to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
It was back-to-back defeats for the Red Devils, who were beaten 2-0 at Arsenal in midweek.
Speaking on NBC Sports, Neville said: “When you keep changing players, when you keep changing your back three, when you take five players off, you’re saying to all of them effectively – because they’ve been left out of the starting XI – you don’t trust them.
“And Ten Hag kept doing that a few weeks ago where he kept changing the back players, changing the midfield.
“All of a sudden, you’ve got a completely different system, a completely different set of players on the pitch at the end of the game and you can never get stability or consistency.”
