Victor Osimhen has hailed his Galatasaray teammates following Sunday night’s 5-1 win over Kayserispor.

Osimhen scored two goals to help Okan Buruk’s side extend their lead at the top of the log.

The striker said it was important for the team to maintain their unbeaten streak going into Christmas break.

“I congratulate our team very much. It was one of the most important matches of the season. It also allowed us to widen the points gap,” he told the club’s official website.

“The opponent’s players up front were dangerous. For this reason, the victory was of particular importance. I am happy to contribute to two goals.

“We are very happy with the victory before the break. We want to continue this momentum. ”

Osimhen has so far registered 12 goals and five assists for the Turkish Super Lig champions this season.
