Personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, NAF, have barricaded the office of Ikeja Electric over electricity disconnection.

It was alleged that staff of the company were assaulted by the military personnel.

In a video making the rounds on X, the van of the Nigerian Air Force was seen at the main entrance of the electricity distribution company in Lagos on Thursday.

A staff of Ikeja Electric who is not authorised to speak confirmed the development to Urban Express News Online

When Our Correspondent  called the Managing Director of Ikeja Electric, Folake Soetan, she did not respond. A text message sent to her has not been replied as of the time of filing this report.

Similarly, efforts to reach the Nigerian Air Force spokesperson, Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa, were unsuccessful.
