Attacks In Sokoto Community-Bello Turji’s Associate, Kalamu Reportedly Abducted Five Inhabitants

Top Associates of Bello Turji, Notorious bandit leader Kallamu, led a violent attack on Kaibaba community in Isa Local Government Area (LGA) of Sokoto State on Saturday night, shooting one resident and abducting five others.

The attack was revealed in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on Sunday.

According to his report, Kallamu and his gang stormed the community under the cover of darkness, targeting residents for kidnapping.

One man who resisted abduction was shot before the assailants took five captives to their hideout in Gwali Gwali camp, located in Sabon Birni LGA.

“Yesterday night, notorious bandits leader Kallamu, a top associate of Bello Turji, stormed Kaibaba community in Isa LGA, Sokoto State. He shot one man for resisting abduction and kidnapped 5 people to his Gwali Gwali camp in Sabon Birni LGA,” Bakatsine wrote.

As of the time of filing this report, authorities had yet to release an official statement regarding the attack.
