The organisers of the Ballon d’Or award released the details for this year’s event on Monday.
It will be held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. The daye for the 2025 edition is Monday, September 22.
France Football, UEFA and L’Équipe will collaborate to organise it.
The award, which honours the top footballers for the year in review, has been held since 1956.
New awards to be handed out this year are: the Women’s Kopa Trophy, Women’s Yashin Trophy and Women’s Gerd Muller Trophy.
The leading candidates in the most popular category – Men’s Ballon d’Or – are Barcelona captain Raphinha and Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele.
At least one hundred journalists from big football countries will vote to determine the winner.
