The Chief of Staff to Ibas disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
The suspension is to take effect immediately.
According to him, the suspension is in line with the powers conferred upon him by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
President Tinubu had appointed the former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibas as the Sole Administrator of Rivers state following the Proclamation of state of Emergency in the state.
The President, in justifying his action, cited the none agreement of the Political gladiators in the state more of what he describes as irreconcilable differences between political stateholders of the state
Going down memory lane, President Tinubu said after the vandalization that took place, he could no longer fold his arm to see that there is break down of law and order.
