Real Madrid boss, Xabi Alonso, has predicted an ‘intense’ game when the Los Blancos tackle Pachuca in the FIFA Club World Cup tie on Sunday night.
Alonso’s side heads to the game after playing a 1-1 draw in their first game against Al Hilal.
The Spaniard has already announced his Squad to face Pachuca as Kylian Mbappe was not included
Speaking at his pre-match interview, Alonso backed Real Madrid to beat the Mexico club at Bank of America Stadium.
According to him, the encounter is a must-win game for the Spanish LaLiga giants.
“I expect an intense game tomorrow,” Alonso said.
“We want to play well, and we want to win. This is a must-win. And we need to win convincingly.”
Real Madrid are in Group H in the Club World Cup, alongside Pachuca, Al Hilal and RB Salzburg.
