Arsenal attacking midfielder, Max Dowman, on Saturday night made history following Arsenal’s Premier League 2-0 win against Everton.
Recall that Arsenal defeated Everton at the Emirates Stadium, thanks to two second-half goals from Viktor Gyökeres and Dowman.
However, according to OptaJoe, at 16 years and 73 days, Dowman has now become the youngest scorer in Premier League history.https://urbanexpresslive.com/epl-real-reason-we-lost-to-newcastle-united-chelsea-manager-liam-rosenior/
Dowman joined Arsenal’s youth team in 2015 from Billericay Town, and he currently represents England’s U-19 national team.
Arsenal’s next match is against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Tuesday, and Dowman will hope to get some minutes for the Gunners against the Bundesliga side.
Both teams drew 1-1 in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie last week in Germany, and Dowman was an unused substitute.
