Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has said he is “in love” with Wesley Fofana.
Fofana has become a key member of the Blues’ squad since his return from a long-term injury.
The French defender played all 90 minutes as Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
After the game, Maresca was full of praise for the 23-year-old.
He said: “Let me say again: I’m in love with Wes Fofana.
“He spent all of last season injured and came back in the way he is fighting every day.
“He probably has to play until the end of his career with pain. You have to be strong, and he is like this.”
