Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has told his squad they have to play better despite a brave 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.
The Red Devils had taken the lead at Anfield, thanks to Lisandro Martinez’s fierce effort.
But the Premier League leaders turned the game around after Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah scored at the Kop End.
United rescued a point with Amad Diallo’s late tap-in from Alejandro Garnacho’s low cross.
“I want to see my team play so much better, but I think the most important thing to address today is the mentality,” Amorim told reporters after the game.
“That is the key for everything. Today we were a different team, not because of the system, not because of the technical aspect of the game [or] the tactical aspect of the game.
“We face the competition in the way that we are supposed to face every day. Training and match. It doesn’t matter the place, the opponents, we need to face them every day like that.”
