Nassr captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has insisted that things will be good with Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim amid the Red Devils’ current woes this season.
According to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Amorim’s side would ‘continue the storm, but the storm will finish and the sun will rise.’
Man United currently sit in the 14th position on the Premier League table, after their recent 2-0 defeat against Wolves on Boxing Day.
Speaking at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony on Friday, Ronaldo said:
“I knew it would be tough and they would continue the storm, but the storm will finish and the sun will rise.
“Fingers crossed things will be good with him and I hope the best for Man United because this is a club I still love”.
Ronaldo and Amorim were former teammates with the Portugal national team.
