Chelsea star, Noni Madueke has named the club’s former defender, Thiago Silva as the ‘best player he’s ever played with’.
Madueke described Silva as unbelievable, adding that the Brazilian is a great leader.
“The best player I’ve played with? I’d probably have to give it to Thiago Silva,” Madueke told Amazon Prime Video.
“The guy’s unbelievable. I used to go against him in training sometimes and think, “This man’s double my age.” And he can still take the ball off me.
“He was a great player and a great leader. He was a great person to have around.”
Silva won several trophies in Brazil, Italy and France before moving to Chelsea ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
He was one of the most consistent players in the Premier League, winning Chelsea’s Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year awards in 2023.
Silva eventually left the Blues at the end of last season to return to his boyhood club Fluminense as a free agent.
