Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has revealed that winger, Bukayo Saka will be out of action for the club for two months.
Arteta stated this following Arsenal’s Premier League 1-0 victory against Ipswich Town on Friday.
This means that Saka will be sidelined until at least March following surgery on his hamstring.
The England international tore his right hamstring during Arsenal’s 5-1 win against Crystal Palace last weekend.
Providing an update on Saka, Arteta told reporters after Arsenal defeated Ipswich Town at Emirates Stadium:
“Bukayo Saka will be out for many weeks… probably more than 2 months.
“He underwent surgery. Now it depends… how the scar tissue starts to heal, the mobility of that”.
