Former Arsenal winger, Robert Pires, has backed the team to get a positive result against Tottenham in their Premier League clash on Sunday.
The Gunners will be without key midfielder Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice for the North London Derby.
Odegaard is injured, while Rice was sent off against Brighton.
Despite the absence of these key players, Pires insists that Mikel Arteta has enough in his squad to see off their rivals.
“It is certainly a bitter loss because Rice is the linchpin of this team and his vast experience means that opponents have great respect for him,” Pires told Wettbasis.com.
“Nevertheless, Arsenal can win this derby without him because the squad is better staffed.”
