Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has insisted that Casemiro and Christian Eriksen should not be playing together for the Red Devils.
According to the former England star, both players do not have the legs to run.
He said following Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United in their last Premier League outing of 2024

“Casemiro and [Christian] Eriksen haven’t got the legs to get around. Casemiro and Eriksen shouldn’t be playing together in the Premier League,” he said on Sky Sports.
“The two central midfielders can’t run. The back three have no legs. They have been absolutely awful. You are watching the worst pound-for-pound team in the country.
“There are only three of them who can say they have been alright under Amorim: Dalot, (Noussair) Mazraoui and Amad.”
Goals from Alexander Isak and Joelinton in the first half condemned the Red Devils to a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford.
It meant United have won just once in their last five Premier League games.
