Former goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has blamed Chelsea goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, for the Blues’ 2-1 loss to Fulham on Boxing Day.
Schwarzer is of the opinion that the Spanish goalkeeper’s decision to kick the ball up the pitch in the final minutes of the game cost them a point.
Schwarzer said the goalkeeper should not taken such a decision when defender Tosin Adarabioyo was near and available for him to pass the ball to.

The loss was a setback in Enzo Maresca’s side’s title chase.
“Robert Sanchez…has to look at himself; it was a poor clearance.
“If you’re a goalkeeper, you’re only as good as your worst mistake.”
