Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has told Cristiano Ronaldo he would love the major changes at Manchester United at the moment.
This follows the Al Nassr striker’s comments in 2022, where the 40-year-old lambasted the Old Trafford outfit, saying the club had made zero progress since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
Dalot said that his national team captain would have loved the Red Devils’ new state-of-the-art first-team complex at their training ground.
However, the club’s new owners, led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, have effected some massive changes ahead of the new season.
Dalot stated, as quoted on Sportskeeda, “I’m sure he [Cristiano Ronaldo] would love it if he were able to see it.”
He, however, said that Ronaldo’s message was very well understood by the club’s hierarchy.
The renovations to the training complex were part of a £236 million investment made by the INEOS ownership during the 2024-25 season.
