How Army Brigade In Delta Intercept Four Suspected Criminals, recover Arms

Troops of the 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Delta State have arrested four suspected criminals operating in a tricycle and recovered arms and ammunition.

In a statement, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, Major Emmanuel Onoja, said the suspects were apprehended inside a tricycle during a routine patrol at Nwawolo Market, behind the Asaba Specialist Hospital.

According to the statement, items recovered from the operation include one AK-47 rifle, one round of 9mm ammunition, two cartridges, and one magazine.

Other items include one crowbar, one battle axe, small Android phones, and a wallet containing 19 US dollars and n36,650.

The statement added that the suspects were taken into custody for further interrogation.
